AMERICAN RECORDER DIB-101 Passive Direct "DI" Box

The AMERICAN RECORDER DIB-101 Passive direct box (aka "DI" box) allows interfacing and connecting all types of unbalanced high-impedance signals to balanced low impedance signals.  As an example, when connecting instruments such as guitars and keyboards directly to a mixing console.  This will also allow for much longer cable runs, which is not desired with high-impedance signals.

And since the DIB-101 is totally passive, it does not require any power to operate, simply plug in and your good to go!

FEATURES

HIGH-IMPEDENCE IN/OUT 1/4" JACKS

Provides high impedance output connection for connection to guitar amp, etc.

ATTENUATION SELECTOR SWITCH

Three level selector adjust signal level - 0dB, -20dB, -40dB

XLR BALANCE MIC IN/OUT

Allow DIB-101 to be used in reverse!  Plug in dynamic microphone and send signal out the high-impendence 1/4" jack.  Handy when you want to connect a microphone to a guitar amp.

GROUND LIFT SWITCH

Eliminate AC hum caused by ground loops
