This pole clamp is used on lighting grids and railings to mount accessories. The attached 2 ½ “ geared grip head holds grip arms, studs for light mounting or other accessories. Grip heads has three mounting slots and can handle sizes from 5/8" to 1". The jaws open wide enough for mounting on 2” pipe and there is a 5/8” stud on the end of the mounting handle.
