Carbon fiber technology is now available at an affordable price. Carbon fiber tripods have the combination of great strength and light weight at the same time. Perfect for use in the field, these tripods can go anywhere. And yet for their features they are still reasonably priced. The legs extend with a twist locking collar, simple and efficient. We use stainless steel locking pins in the top section for durability and corrosion resistence. The legs can be locked in 3 positions, and can be reversed to fold flat for the ultimate in portability. The lift style center column has a standard 3/8" threaded post to allow use with most all tripod heads on the market.

An inexpensive functional ball head for most cameras including lightweight DSLRs. Features a 2" base with a female 3/8" thread which allows it to be attached to most tripod leg sets. Two control knobs on the ball head, one for 360 degrees of panorama swivel, and the other to loosen or lock the ball head itself. The ball can be tilted up to a maximum of 90 degrees. Quick release plate to allow the camera to be quickly attached and removed from the ball head. A lever locks the quick release plate securely. Also has a built-in spirit level.
